The modern production process in a solar factory puts very high requirements on the versatile and dynamic control of the individual processing steps as a function of the variables of the actual process and the process data acquired from previous process steps. Systems which allow easy and efficient analysis of the process data and intelligent control of the process based on the acquired data are called APC solutions (APC – Advanced Process Control). The modeling of an APC solution is currently carried out plant-specific and application-specific in the form of customized solutions.
The goal of the work is to carry out studies on the application and further development of APC solutions developed in previous projects for different types of processes that play a key role in the manufacture of photovoltaic elements. Another goal is to research their use for modeling within a universally applicable APC library.
